From Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve to Kathryn Abby Hanna Park and plenty of other options too, you’re sure to find a favorite green space for you and your companion here in this city.
Jacksonville has 80,000+ acres of green space to enjoy – and with average temperatures here getting as high as 91 °F in the summer, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy them. And despite the fact that there are supposedly 200,000 more cats than dogs here in Florida, there are still plenty of dog walkers looking for places to take their pooches!
But which are the best parks to head to if you want to ensure that both of you will receive a great welcome? Here’s where you can enjoy the great outdoors with your faithful companion at your side.
