The River Club was originally founded as a business club in 1954 to rival similar private clubs in New York, Chicago, and Washington, D.C., The River Club’s growth has mirrored that of Jacksonville through the decades ~ steady, tasteful and with a goal of providing a better lifestyle to an expanding population.
