Jacksonville Beachside Camping

Huguenot Memorial Park is a 295-acre horseshoe shaped peninsula surrounded by the Fort George Inlet, the St. Johns River, and the Atlantic Ocean. Spend the night under the stars at one of 70 campsites and wake up early for a romantic stroll as the sun rises over the clear waters. The park has incomparable wildlife watching as one of the Great Florida Birding Trail sites and little explorers will enjoy the fishing and bird watching.

Little Talbot Island State Park

With beaches on one side, and a salt marsh and maritime forests along the other, Little Talbot Island State Park truly showcases Florida’s natural beauty. The quiet relaxing campgrounds feature two bath facilities and each of the 40 campsites has water, electricity, an in-ground fire ring, and a picnic table. Bike or hike five miles of pristine beaches or meander along a wooded nature trail. Bike rentals and canoes are available at the Ranger Station. There are more overnight experiences including cabins and boat camping at other Florida State Parks.

Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park

For the ultimate family camping experience, head to Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park. This 447-acre natural playground includes more than 20 miles of biking and hiking trails through cool woodlands and access to white sand beaches. The kids will be entertained for hours fishing at the lake, paddle boating, and playing in the nearby children’s splash park. Both campsites and cabin rentals are available and leashed pets are permitted on the beaches.

RV and Cabin Camping in Jacksonville

Enjoy the luxurious side of camping at Flamingo Lake RV Resort. Stay in the park's furnished cabins or relax in the comfort of your motor vehicle at one of the 288 RV sites including water, electricity, cable, sewer, and free wireless internet. Unique Camping Experiences

Sleeping under the stars next to a small fire could be quite appealing to some, but for those who want a more unique approach to camping we have some options here in Jacksonville. You can experience the After Dark Sleepovers at Jacksonville Zoo & Garden. This can be scheduled throughout the year with a minimum of eighteen guests.

Another exciting camp experience is Roar N’ Snore at the Catty Shack. Patrons will have the opportunity to sleep safely amongst the big cats. This tour typically takes place twice a year. The MOSH gives you the opportunity to sleep under the stars of the planetarium with their Camp-in which takes place in throughout the year.
